ONLINE Tricor FOR SALE, Over the years I have shared many a Thanksgiving meal with Christians. Japan, craiglist, ebay, overseas, paypal, When they hosted it I have heard some pre-meal blather, called "saying grace, order Tricor from mexican pharmacy, Kjøpe Tricor på nett, köpa Tricor online, " which invariably included thanking "the Lord for thy food."

In my opinion, no Thanksgiving giving-of-thanks is truly accurate without a nod to the Native Americans, purchase Tricor online, Buy Tricor without a prescription, whose knowledge of the New World's flora and fauna made it possible for the Pilgrims to have a day of feasting. It is no small irony that those very same Native Americans were later subjected to genocide by the "good Christians" of various denominations who had spread across the land.

  1. No and no. (And I am not wedded to my argument, but I’m enjoying it in a debate mode.)

    1. If we define bad behavior as behavior that is inimical to the health of the community and the species, then there is nothing in the Christian faith that makes it any different from other popular and powerful deist cults; some humans are capable of extremes of bad behavior and tend toward them when they feel empowered above the cultural norms, when they perceive opposition, but experience no actual social brakes, to the exercise of their will and power. All the powerful deist faiths have tortured their perceived enemies, so Christianity is not especially implicated. (And that’s taking your question very literally.)

    2. I don’t think modern Christian beliefs, in particular, work as long-term cultural norms any better than any secular set of norms work in the developed countries. If a person is powerfully motivated to commit adultery, they will despite shunning or guilt-inducement or the promise of hell beyond death. (Immediate physical punishment might be more powerful as dissuasion, but I’m extrapolating from literature and history.) If a person is powerfully motivated to break a property law, they will despite a given justice system. Social norms work for people who are prone to follow them and they fail for those who are prone to break them. Adding on a kindly martyred magician doesn’t matter in the end.

    Interesting thoughts.
My answers, too, would be “no and no.” But I would want to qualify those answers. Why? It may be possible for religion to be not so much a cause as it is a catalyst. At least in the case of those “on the fence.”
If so, does a catalyst for behavior deserve any responsibility? Hmm.
